IT Head/Chief Technology Officer - BFSI

Our client is a leading Financial Services Firm which is looking for a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to oversee its Investment Banking and Institutional Broking business units. This position reports to Director (Operations).

Position : HEAD - IT

Location : Mumbai

Reporting to : Director

Span of Control (Geography & No. of Reportees ) :Executives in-charge of IT Infrastructure and Business Applications

Specific Responsibilities :

- Manage the IT Function in terms of IT Infrastructure and Business Applications

- Manage Data Center Management of Servers, Database, Storage, New project execution / incident & performance management.

- Responsible for systems and applications 100% uptime & availability, EOD/BOD processes

- Responsible for managing all applications in production setup and new/change requests deployment, UAT, Performance Management, Version Management, Patch Management

- Responsible for overall IT Security Compliance, Data Security, IT Risk Management

- Supervising and managing technical staffs, to develop & maintain IT Policies and Processes, IT Process Improvements, cost effectiveness

- Coordination with all business functions for managing business requirements

- Coordinate with Regulatory entities for IT Compliance

- Vendor Management, SLA Management, Services Contract Management

Key Performance Indicators :

- Management of the trading systems in day to day operations

- New/Changes/Upgrades of Application Roll-out in live setup

- Implementation of New Features/Upgrades/Patches in Application

- Application Performance Management

- Incident Management/Bug Fixing in coordination with application service providers

Experience :

- 8+ years of experience in a broking firm, with minimum 3 years in managing the trading systems setup

- Understanding of Exchange Connectivity and FIX Connectivity

- Production management of Trading Systems, EOD, BOD processes

- Process oriented
