About the venture

Burman Family (owners of Dabur India Limited) is setting us a healthcare venture with a vision to transform patient care services across India. (right now in stealth mode so no information on web is available)

Position: IT Head/Chief Product Officer

Business Need:

- The venture aims to provide a distributed network of healthcare professional and equipment 24x7 and 365 days. Technology becomes a key stakeholder to make such an operation scalable and reliable.

Objectives:

1) Product Planning – Define the product milestones supporting business needs and growth. Define and meet milestones for time, budget and quality metrics.

2) Product Definition – Define and evolve product which is comprehensive, needs minimal training for non technical staff and provides user friendly features to enhance efficiency of operational and nursing team.

3) Technology Development – Manage product development through inhouse team or outsourced vendor. Make sure the product meets functionality, quality and usability standards as per expectation.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop business plans for each product phase in accordance to business needs

- Present the company’s product road map to the Board of Directors and Advisors

- Participate in budget development also assess time-lines and costs

- Lead various technical and product teams (in-house or outsourced) in Product development activities. Also Manage service providers/vendors

- Review all test plans and cases to ensure coverage of requirements

- Product documentation (User Guides, etc.) – guidelines for content, structure, etc.

- Assist in developing market research activities to understand needs of internal customers

- Communicate effectively with Delivery/Sales & Management teams

- Lead trouble-shooting efforts to fix identified issues in product

Desired Skills & Experience

The following qualifications and skill sets would be expected from the applicants.

- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, and preferably MBA from Top Tier Colleges

- 7-10 years product development, management and/or operational experience with the last 4 years in an software product company(s)

- Excellent verbal and written communication in English, organizational and interpersonal skills

- Strong communication skills with all levels of management in a professional capacity

- Ability to work effectively under time constraints and deliver results by critical deadlines
