Skills/Experience:

- Healthcare Skills

- Strong experience in the healthcare domain, including knowledge of healthcare standards, workflows and processes

- Good understanding of Healthcare Market and Payment Reforms

- Previous experience with having conceptualized & designed parts of enterprise scale healthcare IT applications

Technology Skills:

- Proven experience SDLC experience with design, development and testing of multi-tiered enterprise applications

- Strong understanding of current and emerging technology trends

- Proven experience in requirements gathering, wireframes, screen mockups and documentation (specific to healthcare)

- Excellent written, verbal communication and customer interfacing skills

Skills / Experience (desired):

- Knowledge of Agile Methodologies such as Extreme Programming (XP) & Scrum

- Knowledge of integration and interoperability standards

- Knowledge of Consumer Health Initiatives and Payer-Provider collaboration

- Knowledge of HL7 V3

Job / role description:

- Work closely with clients to understand requirements and business needs

- Interact with client engineering team to conceptualize, develop and implement software projects and solutions

- Optionally lead development of solutions on an end to end basis

- Lead onsite visits to client locations e.g., for requirements, UAT

- Proactively stay abreast with new developments in Microsoft's software development technologies

- Proactively track developments in healthcare IT, including standards, technologies and workflows
