Job Description - IT Enablement for supply chain and sales function

Description :

- Responsible for the overall IT requirements of sales and logistics functions of business groups.

- Responsible for the investigation and implementation of any new technologies that would contribute to the improvement, efficiency and enhancement of existing systems or technologies in the sub-vertical

- Should be familiar with sales and logistics processes and solutions within these areas

- Understand the business and challenges across business groups and how these could be resolved thru digitalization

- Create a digital roadmap based on long term business objectives

- Prioritize and drive key strategic initiatives to enhance business performance

- Define budgets for identified initiatives

- Ensure all initiatives are aligned to the company/business group business strategy

- Identify areas for applying digital technologies such as IoT, analytics, AI/ML and RPA for driving business outcomes and creating differentiators

- Prepare business requirements/functional specs/benefits with the help of business analysts

- Engage with Delivery and Vendors to ensure initiatives are delivered

- Facilitate the acceptance of the system and ensure requisite processes and resources are aligned prior to implementation.

- Define the implementation plan and participate in the roll-out of the application/module/project within and across related functions

- Manage stakeholders within sales functions

- Define and implement program governance models and conduct the requisite programs to steer projects

- Ensure business processes are optimized prior to automation

- Drive adoption and ensure business objectives are met

- Participate in industry events as attendee /panelist /speaker and build network and image

- Participate in industry awards events

- Manage risks and ensure mitigation
