IT Business Analyst

Key Responsibilities :

- Collaborate with key stakeholders to elicit non-functional requirements to ensure innovative, smart solutions which adhere to the Banks standards are identified.

- Liaise with business stakeholders to understand the business requirements and work with the wider squad to establish a high-level design.

- Provide presentations on the high-level design and obtain all relevant signoffs.

- Create well-written and elaborated stories which can be reviewed by the business and utilized for development and testing purposes.

- Ensure product templates and other master artefacts are updated and maintained.

- Highlight project risks, providing suggestions on how they might be mitigated.

- Actively manage and monitor the risk to reduce the likelihood of occurrence.

- Ensure that changes to requirements, follow the change management procedure and are included in the high-level design, and additional user stories.

- Ensure that traceability of implementation is maintained from requirements through to user stories and tasks.

- Contribute and support the creation of training material and guides.

- Support the wider Product Engineer community by providing knowledge handovers, peer reviews.

- Provide support around defect identification, root cause analysis, issue resolution.

- Perform data impact assessments, identify data sources, and design migration approaches.

Skills :

- Must have worked on global enterprise scale application developments and implementations, preferably in an Agile environment, including, application design, data migration and integration.

- Must have hands on experience designing solutions and writing user stories, working as part of an Agile squad.

- Must have a knowledge of key technologies such as, AI/ML, API, Python, SQL, JSON, XML.

- Good working knowledge of international banking experience in Wholesale Banking, especially in the client on-boarding and/or due diligence (KYC), Tax (FATCA, CRS), Regulations (MIFID, EMIR, Dodd Frank) or applicable product knowledge is highly preferable.

- Outstanding presentation skills and highly effective verbal and written English communication skills Ability to effectively communicate complex concepts, models and technical information to a non-technical audience, and business information to technical audience.

- Ability to quickly absorb and learn new systems, methodologies, and types of information.

- Ability to facilitate workshops, discussions, and meetings with stakeholders at all levels.

- Has a strong knowledge and hand on experience of analysis techniques such as Use Cases, Process Modelling, Data Flow Diagrams, Entity Relationship Diagrams.

- Capable of working independently to resolve issues and/or identify solutions.

- Demonstrates creative thinking by generating new ideas and concepts and identifying new ways of doing things and has strong problem-solving skills.

- Ability to form strong working relationships with stakeholders and team members.
