Skill, Knowledge & Trainings:
- Experience as an IT Business Analyst in Capital Markets Post Trade (Settlement and Risk) domain in IT companies or Financial Services organizations.
- Experience in preparing BRS or Functional Specifications/User Stories, Test Plans, Test scenarios, Acceptance criteria, Test cases.
- Experience in functional testing, test planning and test execution.
- Responsible for ensuring appropriate test coverage and execution for various test cycles.
- Maintain defect logs, publish testing reports to all stakeholders and track defects to closure.
- Experience in integration testing, system testing and beta testing using manual and automated test scenarios and test cases.
- Good understanding of Agile processes including testing methodologies and business impact analysis.
- Good Communication and Presentation skills.
Core Competencies (Must have):
- Experience in Clearing, Settlement and Risk systems.
- Thorough understanding of Capital markets domain.
- Awareness of Margining and Risk computations for trading/ post trading systems.
- Business requirements analysis and documentation.
- Functional Testing using Manual and/ or Automated testing.
Additional Competencies (Nice to have):
- Appreciation of Enterprise Functional Architecture in Capital Markets.
- Exposure to industry leading products used by leading exchanges or brokers such as Calypso, Murex, Nasdaq, Broadridge or to settlement solutions.
- Project Coordination/ Management.
- Agile methodologies.
- Experience in real-time position monitoring systems.
- Experience in Functional Solution design.
Job Purpose:
- The successful candidate would join the IT Department of a critical Financial Market Infrastructure.
- (FMI) organization, which serves as a Qualified Central Counterparty (QCCP) for Government.
- Securities, Money Market, FX and Derivatives transactions in the Indian financial markets.
- The successful candidate would play a key role in the "IT Transformation Programme" which envisages a modernization of critical applications so as to align with the target state enterprise architecture, to adopt a contemporary or futuristic technology stack and tools, to improve system scalability, reliability, maintainability, and to reduce the time to market for change requests or new functionality requested by the business departments.
- The transformation programme is expected to be an evolution of the applications with components of functionality being carved out as per the new architecture and being delivered to production as they are completed.
- The successful candidate would be responsible for engaging with business units for understanding.
Clearing, Settlement and Risk systems:
- The candidate will work closely with Business departments and Application development teams to meet the requirements towards new development for the transformation programme.
- Candidate will be responsible for business analysis, preparation of BRS, Test planning, Test scenarios for various functionalities of the clearing and settlement system.
- Candidate will be required to co-ordinate across different agile teams, stakeholders, business departments and IT Infrastructure teams.
