Role Description:

- Good understanding on the Liability and Assets products along with customer on-boarding process.

- Have sound knowledge on the different interbank payment platforms, like NEFT, RTGS, NACH, Mandate, IPMS, CTS (Cheque Truncation System) etc.

- Understand the Business requirement from the bank user and provide solution to the same.

- Understand the job and responsibilities of Banking operation department in a bank and branch.

- Good understanding of core banking, surround apps and Multi-channel architecture and digital banking

- Good understanding on the KYC norms of the RBI along with different guidelines of customer services.

- Employ strategic thinking to lead and direct IT vendor technical engagement strategies in the context of the business priorities and objectives

- Effective communication and understanding ability to add value in the discussion between IT vendor and business users.

- Effective negotiation skills to negotiate and take the business requirement to closure.

- Understanding on the recent Banking regulation prevalent in the Banking.

Job Description:

- Define and execute IT Enterprise Applications strategy to support the company's overall business strategies.

- Develop/ create the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), for performance monitoring and quality measurement purposes, pertaining to the IT Operations.

- Ensure the provision of adequate and efficient processing services pertaining Assets products, resolving their queries/ problems and thereby help them serve their respective operations in an efficient manner.

- Evaluate existing as well as new products/services and provide recommendations on ways to improve the effectiveness/ efficiency of the transactions related to the same.

- Compile relevant MIS on periodic basis for the management.

- Ensure system and quality enhancements by monitoring the respective IT activities and processes implemented, and by keeping abreast with new methodologies and practices.

Qualifications:

- BE/MCA/MBA

- 12-15 + years project management in IT department in the relevant products of the Bank successfully delivering complex technology solutions within a defined Software/Systems development lifecycle; consulting experience preferred.

- Currently working for Application Support function of a Bank.

- Candidates should have experience in at least one system application related to CBS, CMS, Customer onboarding platform, AML monitoring, Payments Services, Govt. Business Modules etc.

- Experience on Oracle CBS or Newgen Application will have preference

- Skill set on data interrogation with SQL and good MS Excel knowledge will be added advantage
