A Leading Big4 is looking for a person into IT Bank Audits - IT Risk Advisory

Location: Mumbai

Department: Risk Advisory Services

Qualification: CA/ CISA

Purpose of Job:

Risk and Compliance professional focusing on:

- Assisting in development client pitches / proposals around banking Risk and Compliance services

- Assist in / Lead project delivery (from Planning through Delivery) for Banking Risk engagements (Internal Audit, ERM, IT Audits, Compliance audits and other financial services (NBFC, Insurance) internal audits and risk advisory projects

- Knowledge Management – developing and disseminating knowledge / trainings on Risk, Audit and Compliance (RBI, IRDA, SoX)

- Practice Management – conducting trainings, coaching junior staff and team building

- Ability to meet travel requirements, up to 25%

The person we are looking for:

- Strong knowledge and exposure of Internal Auditing standards, IT Risk and Information Security standards, risk management framework (e.g. COSO) banking and RBI regulations in India

- Practical exposure and experience in business and IT Risk consulting in financial services industry (banks, NBFCs, insurance)

- Knowledge of and exposure to banking systems, processes

- Excellent client handling and business development skills. Proven track record of excellent project execution / delivery

- Proven ability to build, manage and foster a team-oriented environment

- Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment

- Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills

- Strong business acumen, strategy and FS industry thought leadership.

Role Specific Competencies:

- Should have the experience of working in Risk advisory services and / or Audit and / or Compliance Department of a leading bank / NBFC

- Strong experience in internal auditing (including IT audits), Operational Risk, Compliance audits of a large or mid-sized foreign or private sector bank / NBFC (preferably financial services processes) or on projects with leading players in providing Risk advisory services for Financial Services players

- Banking business process knowledge, experience in working with Asset Management and Insurance companies

- Strong knowledge of regulations and circulars released by regulatory bodies (RBI, IRDA, SEBI etc.)

- Experience of conducting application control reviews and application functionality reviews

- Experience in leading teams for technology audits (ITGC, change audits etc.)

- Information security audit experience would be preferred
