Your key responsibilities:

- Use knowledge of the current IT environment and industry IT trends to identify the engagement and client service issues, and communicate this information to the engagement team and client management through written correspondence and verbal presentations

- Demonstrate and apply strong project management skills, inspire teamwork and responsibility with engagement team members, and use current technology and tools to enhance the effectiveness of deliverables and services

- Leading a portfolio of Technology Risk engagements with our clients, directing and developing teams to deliver the highest quality solutions and services

- Managing the production of reports and via review ensuring the highest quality deliverables prior to Director / Partner review.

- Able to technically guide the teams for client service delivery across multi-disciplinary technology risk engagements

- Participate in and lead engagements, identifying and managing client's IT risks and controls

- Proactively participate in market development activities, build proposals and actively support pursuits

- Must be able to build solutions for client requirements and internal process efficiencies

- Manage the financial aspects of client engagements and communicate significant issues, fees, billing and collections, and estimates-to-complete to Partners and Client

- Follow firm's quality/ risk management guidance and apply them on day-to-day client service delivery

- Proactively identify opportunities to better serve clients and continuously engage with client to be a trusted business advisor

- Contribute to enhancing Technology Risk solution and future proof them, build technology assets that can serve client needs

- Develop people through effectively supervising, coaching, and mentoring all levels of staff

- Conduct performance reviews and contribute to performance feedback for all levels of staff

- Contribute to people-related initiatives including recruiting, retaining and training Risk professionals

- Self-starter and proactively learn new and emerging trends in the field of Technology Risk

To qualify for the role you must have:

- A recognized university degree in business, information technology, engineering, or other relevant discipline

- Minimum of 7 years of work experience in IT audit or Technology Risk Consulting from a public accounting firm or a professional services firm

- Relevant consulting or industry experience, preferably in a professional services environment or MNC

- Focus on Financial Services clients and knowledge of Financial Services industry

- Strong client facing experience

- Acumen for business development and technical delivery

- Significant experience in applying relevant technical knowledge in the following aspects:

- Financial Services regulatory compliance and assessments

- Technology Risk and controls assessment

- Application and Infrastructure risk assessments

- IT general controls/ Supporting external statutory audits

- IT internal audit

- SOX/ CCAR/ BCBS controls testing

- Risk and control measurements

- Develop risk management frameworks/ policies & procedures

- IT Service Management (Understanding of ITIL/ ISO 20000)

- Good understanding of information security concepts and be able to apply them

- Service Organization Controls Reporting

- Flair for Analytics and automation in controls assessment

- Emerging Technology Risks such as Cloud security risks, RPA controls and governance, Blockchain. Etc.

- Knowledge in GDPR/ Privacy will be a good add on

- Knowledge in programming languages/ database/ operating systems/ RPA tools will be a good add on

- Project management skills, and able to manage concurrent engagements as a Lead

- Served global clients across all three lines of defence.

- Ability to adapt to different client situation and bring best outcome in difficult situations

- Leadership, teamwork and client service skills

- Demonstrated integrity within a professional environment

- Good networking skills

- Strong written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills

- Flexibility for travel

Other expectations:

- CISA, CISSP, CISM, CGEIT certification or related professional qualification

- Experience of coaching and developing junior team members

- Strong communication skills

- Ability to build and develop relationships

- Commitment to delivering excellence in client service that will stand you apart

- Experience in Financial Services sector
