ITAC- IT Auditor

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Plan, execute, and oversee testing of IT applications controls to ensure effectiveness in preventing unauthorized access, maintaining data integrity, and supporting operational reliability.

- Evaluate application security controls, user access management, change management processes, and system configurations against established standards and regulatory requirements.

- Evaluate Internal Controls (ITGC, ITAC, SDLC Project Controls etc.) as per various compliance standards and frameworks such as SOx, COSO, CoBIT 5 etc.

- Independently perform testing and validation of Information Processing Environment (IPE) reports, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and reliability of data used for financial reporting and decision-making.

- Review and analyze IPE reports to verify compliance with internal policies, accounting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS), and regulatory guidelines (e.g., SOX compliance).

- Conduct risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and control gaps in IT applications and IPE reports.

- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies, controls, and action plans to address identified issues and enhance overall IT security and data integrity.

- Prepare comprehensive testing plans, audit reports, and documentation detailing findings, recommendations, and remediation actions.

- Communicate testing results to management, IT teams, auditors, and stakeholders, ensuring clarity and transparency in reporting.

- Collaborate closely with IT personnel, internal audit teams, compliance officers, and business stakeholders to coordinate testing activities and align objectives.

- Provide guidance and support on IT controls and reporting standards, promoting a culture of compliance and continuous improvement.

- Build and maintain client relationships by understanding and being responsive to client needs and ensuring high-quality work

- Strong project management, communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills.

- Required Skillset: IT Audit, ITAC, Control Testing, SOX frameworks, IT Systems, IT Controls and exposure to ERP systems such as Oracle and SAP.
