Job Title: Techno-Functional Business Analyst

Location: Mumbai, Goregaon East (Nesco IT Park)

Years of Experience Required: 2-5 years.

Overview :

- We are looking for a skilled techno-functional analyst with 2-5 years of experience, a strong proficiency in SQL and/or Python, exploratory data analysis skills, and preferably a good understanding of data pipelines, architecture, methodology and processes related to capital markets data.

- The ideal candidate will have a blend of technical expertise and functional knowledge, and ability to collaborate with stakeholders in a global setting, create functional specification document and develop ETL mechanisms.

Responsibility:

- Gain a thorough understanding of existing systems and business processes.

- Develop tools and frameworks that facilitate large-scale automated data testing and exception reporting

- Take ownership of developing certain logics and methodology in data pipeline

- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and interpret system level requirements

- Convert requirements into functional/technical specifications, data models etc.

- Develop metrics and solutions to assess, monitor and improve data quality

- Conduct data validation, cleansing, and quality checks to ensure data accuracy and integrity

- Identify areas for process improvement based on data analysis and recommend solutions to enhance efficiency

- Define and execute data testing strategy for each project and ensure optimal test coverage on all scenarios

- Contribute to defining data architecture and processes, enhancing algorithms and making our data-related processes more efficient

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new systems and provide end-to-end support for the same

Qualification:

- Bachelors or higher degree in Engineering/Information Science/Statistics/Mathematics/Physics/Computer Applications.

- Post-graduate program in Finance/Financial Accounting/Capital Markets or a CFA Level 1

- 2-5 years of experience with data wrangling and analytics using Python/R and SQL

- Familiarity with firmographic or capital markets data provided by vendors such as Bloomberg, Refinitiv, Factset, ICE and S&P
