Job Summary:
Responsible for aligning Segment business objectives with employees and management for the Segment. Ensure best in class service delivery, enable retention and profitable growth of the Segment through leveraging volume, concept and talent. He/ She will be responsible in driving the group P&C (People & Culture) initiatives in the Segment with the support of Regional & corporate P&C shared services team.
Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Talent Management:
- As per the site surveys coordinate with Segment Head and drive the Recruitment team on Manpower requirement post taking into account rebadging if available.
- Hiring & On-boarding of talent - Ensuring employees are hired and on-boarded basis approved budget and within agreed timelines
- Cross checking of hiring process for documentation and ensuring that one set of documents are kept at the site for probable labour authority inspection.
- Following up and ensuring UAN generation and ESIC registration. In case of rebadging take over the on boarding process like verification of documents and completing and coordinating for short fall of documents with the site Manager.
- Facilitate error free payroll process & handle employee queries. Cross checking the salary master with the payout of the contract to ensure smooth payroll.
- Develop & Motivate
- Ensure all employees are inducted as per ISS standards before deployment with special focus on employee health and safety at work
- Identify training needs for teams and individuals. Work with the L&D teams in ensuring the employees are trained Group training initiatives - HSE, Placemaker, Leading the ISS Way, KAMC etc.
- Encourage employees in using MyLearning as a tool for self-learning
- Using ISS Team Board, drive account specific improvement initiatives
- Drive employee recognition and engagement initiatives within the accounts using the apple program
- Facilitate Various Surveys and initiate steps to work on improvement basis the survey feedback
- Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale and increase productivity and retention
- Provide HR policy guidance

- Once the price increase is given by the customer, ensuring that Planning &Costing / payroll to be informed for salary corrections.
- In case of service increase the process of manpower mobilization to be done with.
Risk & Governance:
- Ensuring the Below through the Compliance lead/ Payroll Lead of the Region
- Facilitating RC copy and form V from the clients for Labour license.
- Handing out Employment cards as per the CLRA.
- Ensuring that the documents required for audits are collated from the regional team.
- Displaying abstract of the acts at the sites as per relevant central or state legislation.
- First level of checking to be done along with the checklist to ensure that documents are in order.
- Checking of first cut of salary register for first few months for accuracy and after every wage revision for due diligence.
- Keeping a track on the IR situation and proactively identifying potential risks and ensuring smooth site operation.
- PVC / BGV to be ensured during hiring with the help of Regional team. Reverification of PVC after every three years or as per customer governance requirement
- Compliance score not less than 95 % for smooth continuance of account.

- Minimum 4-5 years of HR business partnering experience in a large, distributed service industry or Banking/IT/ITES set up
- Exposure to management of high value accounts/ P&L management
- Extensive experience in managing customer relationships and all HR functions
