Role :
- The role holder partners with the business operations team, develops, implements, and aligns HR programs with business objectives, serving as a business partner of the senior management team of the division while supporting employees in their day to day HR needs. The Title Holder will be responsible for developing HR & IR strategy in tune with organization strategy, to attract, develop, engage and retain best in class talents. As a strong, decisive and a result oriented leader, he/she has to develop and manage relationships across the business vertical and externally and with a wide variety of partners based on trust, teamwork and knowledge.
Responsibilities :
- To serve as a business partner to the business leadership team
- Develop and execute an employer brand strategy, aligned with the corporate brand, designed to attract and retain superior talent needed to execute ISS's long-range strategy.
- To constantly shape the attitudes of employees and motivate them for better performance.
- To function in an active and influential business advisory role with Functional Heads and other employees in order to drive the business results.
- To leverage HR team to drive change in leadership & organization development.
- Support workforce planning efforts within the organization, utilizing talent metrics to measure success.
- Inspire and oversee implementation of responsive talent management policies and programs including but not limited to training and development, recruitment, performance management, compensation and benefits programs
- To plan and establish systems for employees- performance appraisal, develop appropriate tools and to work for performance improvement of all employees.
- To ensure statutory compliance under various labour laws and guide and safeguard the interests of the company in a professional, transparent and lawful way in line with ISS values & code of conduct.
- To play a vital role in monitoring and controlling various budgeted targets/numbers and also to maximize results.
- To work for a team based culture in the organization and establish & institutionalize enabling structures internally towards the same.
- To remain customer focused and orient all employees/teams towards meeting or exceeding customers- expectations.
- To ensure that such CSR initiatives as approved are undertaken.
- To constantly work for high performance culture throughout the organization and build individuals and teams towards that.
- Handle escalations with respect to Govt. agencies like the ministries, Senior Labour & Police Officers, etc.

Experience and Background
- Have 12-15+ years- experience in Human Resources domain with reasonable experience in handling large blue collared workforce. (Including at least 10 years in Department head or equivalent, preferably in the logistics, hospitality or outsourced services industry.
- Significant experience in supporting business is desirable, specifically in designing organization structures, productivity improvement and cost rationalization initiatives
- Exposure in handling trade unions and wage settlements
- Proven experience with merger and acquisitions and culture homogenization
- Proven track record in assembling and growing direct reports and teams.
Competencies :
- Requires outstanding interpersonal, coaching and listening skills with the ability to communicate within all levels of the organization.
- Expert knowledge of Central, State and local employment and wage laws and regulations.
- Technologically savvy and well-versed in talent analytics, with deep knowledge of the tools available to recruit and engage a large geographically spread workforce.
- Exhibits excellent public speaking and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to remain objective, discrete and exercise common sense at all times. Able to develop strong, trusting relationships within department and organization.
- Thrives in a dynamic environment and able to work on various projects simultaneously, requiring strong organizational and time management skills.
