KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
Systems/Operations :
- Ensures all financial activities, maintenance of accounts, efficient material Management, management of cash flow and control of costs and inventory.
- Constantly monitor keys performance indicators for respective Villas and decides on necessary actions.
- Responsible for preparation of budgets with inputs from all Department heads and GM-Operations.
- Proposes major cost saving opportunities by staying informed about trends and best practices in cost competitiveness.
- Ensure adherence to Accounting standard as notified by Institute of Chartered Accountants of India from time to time and Accounting Policies adopted by the company.
- Ensures compliance with all statutory requirements i.e. timely completion of Final Accounts, deposit of all applicable taxes, submission of returns with the relevant authorities, replying to notices/queries received from various statutory bodies.
- Ensures adequate insurance coverage for respective Villas.
- Ensures proper understanding and coordination of all the legal cases of the unit, follow up from time to time with the Corporate Legal Cell - Legal advisors and keep the GM-Operations informed.
- Monitors cost and revenue performance of all departments in regularly and suggest corrective action wherever needed.
- Ensures maintenance and safekeeping of all licenses and their timely renewal by informing and guiding respective departmental head, as per organizational policy.
- Ensures safety, security and protection of all movable assets and property by co-ordinating with other departments.
- Ensures compliance with Company policies.
- To prepare monthly profit & Loss account/statement for review
- Preparation of Balance Sheet

- Reports to GM-Operations and functional reporting to Corporate Finance Head.
- Maintains cordial relationship with all the owners/promoters.

- Thorough knowledge of modern financial analysis tools and techniques
- Ability to manage home owners on financial matters.
- Good knowledge of hotel operations.
- Change agent, driven by desire for continuous improvement
- Analytically capable, and computer literate
- Excellent people-training skills.
- Excellent oral/written Communication skills
Responsible to : GM-Operation and functional reporting to the Finance head, Corporate.
Desired experience :
- Should be heading the Accounts department of a small hotel from a reputed chain of hotels or holding a No 2 position of a large hotel for a min of 3 to 4 years
