I) Position Summary:

- The role of a Product Manager involves several key objectives that contribute to successful product development and delivery.

- A product manager is expected to balance business objectives, customer needs, and technical considerations to drive product excellence.

Here are the primary KPIs for product managers:.

- Maximizing Sales Revenues.

- Increasing Market Share.

- Enhancing Profit Margins.

- Drive New Product Incubation.

- Drive existing product enhancements.

II) Person Specification:.

a) Essential Qualifications:.

Graduate in Engineering Experience: 10-15 years.

MBA preferred.

Product management exposure is highly desirable.

b) Requisite Skills:.

Technical & Business.

- Exposure in Product development in SI/Service provider environment.

- Creation of L2O, O2C processes.

- Understanding of Public clouds - (AWS, Azure, GCP, Oracle), Data centers, Collocation, On-premise Computing (Dell/HP,Cybersecurity (xDR, EDR, Firewall, SASE etc. ), DevOps technologies.

- Lead Product strategy.

- In depth understanding of commercial models & business cases , concepts of amortization , cost of capital, financial parameters such as NPV, IRR, EBITDA etc.

- Strong experience working in Scaled Agile Framework.

- Create Product GTM models.

- AOP creation and execution planning.

Functional:

- Provide commercial support to sales teams for specific deals.

- Work closely with marketing team for awareness campaigns on digital platforms.

- Participate in Industry events and forums.

- Keep updated the latest industry trends through various research companies reports such as Gartner, KPMG, Forrester, Forbes etc.

- Work closely with teams like Solution consultants, Enterprise Architects, Engineering, Delivery Assurance & various cross functional teams for process formalization.

- Lead important projects that require guidance to solution and sales team.

- Achieve AOP target for the product.

- Operationally responsible for delivering results that have direct impact on the achievement of results within the job area and may also impact a wider operational area.

- Self-driven, capable of identifying key issues and priorities and focusing on these to deliver required results with minimal direction and supervision.

- Should have the relevant Industry certifications across various relevant technology domains.

- Manage strong relation with major OEMs like HPE, Cisco, Dell EMC, Lenovo, NetApp, Nutanix, VMware, Citrix, Rubrik, Veeam, Veritas, Commvault, Amazon, Microsoft, Google, Oracle and should work closely with them.

- Ensure partner certifications to be managed company wide with OEMs and to be progressive to achieve next level of partnerships.

- Participate in Product evaluation with Engineering teams.

- Drive NPI programs along with NPI PM.

- Should be Able to articulate the business benefits and bring the TCO and RoI benefits to the organization.

- Ability to seamlessly work with various cross functional teams such as Marketing , HR, other Product Managers, Engineering.

- Ability to work as a team player.

c) Work Experience.

- Should have 10-15 Yrs of experience.

- With 4 to 6 years in Product Management.

- Experience of product & service creation in SI and Service provider industry.

- Relevant certifications on Product management is desirable.
