Role and Responsibilities:

- Manage the full spectrum of sales operations for assigned government accounts in the East/South region, ensuring the achievement of Network Services sales targets.

- Report to the Government Cluster Head.

Qualifications and Experience:

- MBA and/or engineering degree with a specialization in Marketing from a reputable institute.

- 5-10 years of experience in selling Internet Lease Line, MPLS, P2P products, and related network services to the government sector.

Required Skills:

- Proven track record in selling high-value internet solutions.

- In-depth understanding of the government buying process (State, Central Ministries & PSU) and familiarity with government sector dynamics.

- Strong history of high performance and new business development.

- Ability to forecast sales needs and develop proactive strategies.

- Excellent account management and business acumen.

- Strategic planning and market execution skills, including competitor and market analysis.

- Ability to build relationships with CXO-level decision-makers.

Key Responsibilities:

- Drive revenue growth from new accounts and increase wallet share from existing customers.

- Develop and implement business plans to expand the customer base in the assigned region/vertical.

- Manage government accounts across East/South states.

- Identify and build new opportunities and prospects continuously.

- Accurately forecast and manage bookings, billing, and collections.

- Position and promote products and solutions effectively.

- Maintain strong account management and customer relationships, ensuring high satisfaction and repeat business.

- Excel in presentations and product demonstrations across various government sectors, influencing specifications and strengthening the company's position in tenders.

- Build and sustain positive business relationships with key customers, ensuring their satisfaction.

- Create compelling value propositions tailored to the government segment.

Desired Profile:

- Ability to interpret and understand tender requirements, raise queries if necessary, and coordinate with customers to address any issues.

- Deep knowledge of the tendering process within PSU and government sectors.

- Familiarity with online portals, including GEM Portal.

- Capability to support customers on a national level for sales and prospective needs.

- Skills in assessing competitors' weaknesses in large tendering/bidding processes
