Manager - Business Development
Role Description:
- This is a full-time, on-site position for a Business Development Manager located in Pune.
- The primary responsibility of the Business Development Manager will be to identify new business opportunities, foster client relationships, and drive sales growth.
- Additionally, they will be tasked with developing strategies to achieve sales targets, conducting market research, and collaborating with internal teams to devise customized solutions for clients.
- Reporting to the Sales Director, the Business Development Manager will closely collaborate with both the marketing and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Revenue Generation:
- Generate revenue from a range of solutions including Servers, End computing, Data security, and Networking solutions.
- Utilize experience in selling products from reputable brands such as Dell, HPE, Aruba, Cisco, Fortinet, etc.
Solution Development:
- Create solution presentations tailored to specific use cases of customers.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop customized solutions for clients.
Sales Strategy:
- Develop territory plans for coverage and new account acquisition on a monthly basis, ensuring compliance.
- Pursue quarterly targets and monthly projections.
Financial Management:
- Take responsibility for payment realization.
- Create commercial quotes by aligning with distributors such as Ingram, Redington, iValue, etc.
Relationship Building:
- Build business rapport with CXO level executives and key decision-makers.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with pre-sales resources to translate customer requirements into a techno-commercial offer.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record in business development and sales, with demonstrated success in achieving revenue targets.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to create compelling solution presentations.
- Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking abilities.
- Experience in selling products from leading brands in the industry.
- Familiarity with creating territory plans and meeting sales targets.
- Ability to build relationships with CXO level executives and key decision-makers.
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Prior experience in the IT industry, particularly in Servers, End computing, Data security, and Networking solutions, is advantageous.
