Position Title: General Manager / Sr. General Manager / Asst. VP / Vice President - Legal and Contracts

Position Summary:

- Ishan Technologies is in search of an experienced Legal and Contracts Head to join our Ahmedabad-based team.

- This full-time, on-site role involves overseeing all legal and contractual aspects of the company, ensuring adherence to legal requirements, and offering strategic legal counsel to senior management.

Key Responsibilities:

- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, vendors, and partners.

- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

- Provide legal guidance and support to senior management regarding business operations and strategies.

- Identify and manage legal risks by developing and implementing company policies and procedures.

- Conduct legal research and stay informed about current laws, regulations, and industry practices.

- Coordinate with external legal counsel when needed.

- Supervise the contract management process, ensuring timely renewals and amendments.

- Develop and deliver training programs on legal issues for staff.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized institution; a Master's degree (LLM) is advantageous.

- 10-15 years of experience in legal and contracts management, preferably within the ICT or technology sector.

- In-depth knowledge of corporate and contract law.

- Exceptional skills in negotiation, drafting, and communication.

- Ability to provide strategic legal advice and support.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- High attention to detail and precision.

- Capability to work independently and handle multiple tasks concurrently.

- Proficiency with legal research tools and Microsoft Office Suite
