It was formed in 2007 with the merger of First Choice Holidays PLC and the Tourism Division of TUI AG, which owns 56.4% of the company.   Role: Manager - Finance  Education: CA with experience in auditing, accounting and preferably budgeting.  Familiarity with accounting packages like Tally, SAP would be preferred.  Primary responsibility areas -  - Accounting and Reporting  - Managing and reviewing accounting on daily basis in Tally for two legal entities.  - Preparation of Financial Statements as per IFRS and India GAAP, updated with the new accounting pronouncements and other regulatory changes.  - Monthly management reporting in set formats.  - Managing external and internal audits.  - Understand group accounting policies/control requirements and achieve compliance with them.  - Performing reconciliations with the operational system, wherever required.  - Achieving continuous improvement in the accounting and reporting process by identifying the key issues and working towards their resolution in discussion with other teams.  - Financial Planning and Forecasting  - Preparing budgets, forecasts and 5 year plans as per the group reporting templates.  - Tracking variances with the forecast and identify/report the actual reasons behind the variances to ensure effective control on the key numbers.  - Supplier Payables & Affiliate Receivables  - Overseeing the Payables function from review perspective in order to ensure the processes gives the desired output for accounting and auditing. Currently, the supplier Payables team consists of 2 professionals.  - Reviewing Intercompany reconciliations and upload of information in the system.   - Set-up a review process around vendor reconciliations.  - Data Management, Compliance & Monitoring  - Review COSO documentation and work towards ensuring compliance with respect to related group requirements.  - Review reconciliations of revenue with the payment gateway collections and fulfillment reports.  - Reviewing supplier contracts and interact with legal team in Spain to take necessary advice to ensure compliance with legal requirements.  - Evaluate current systems/procedures with a view to highlight the shortcomings and implementing necessary recommendations.  Skills and Experience Profile -  The successful individual will be an enthusiastic and experienced Chartered Accountant with domain expertise and the ability to work under pressure, meet aggressive deadlines and be a team player. The following skills would be required:   - CA with 3-6 years of post-qualification experience in financial accounting, auditing & planning.  - The candidate should have expert knowledge of foreign currency accounting  - Exposure in IFRS preferred.  - Handled a minimum team size of at least 2 and not an individual contributor.  - Proficient in ERP based environment  - Good Knowledge of Tally  - Very strong analytical and quantitative skills  - Strong proficiency with Excel; MS Office, Outlook and Excel knowledge must, V Lookup, Pivot table etc.   - Ability to manage complex pieces of raw data and structure/pull together required reports from that data  - Eye for detail and passion for accuracy and consistency  - Good interpersonal and communication skills  - Meticulous, good time management and possess high level of initiative  - Self-motivated and disciplined.
