Job Description:

Business Plan Projections and Fundraising:

- The incumbent will be part of the Investor Relations & Corporate Finance team responsible for preparing and maintaining the company's business plan on an ongoing basis

- Execute simulations of the Business Plan at multiple levels basis business updates, changes in strategy, lender and partner requirements, new market propositions and regulatory changes

- Lead the equity fundraise process for the company involving preparation of the Financial Model and IM, coordination with potential investors, management of information exchange with relevant parties

- Prepare various market and industry landscapes for expansion studies, new product launches, peer benchmarking and competition analysis

- Assist in due diligence exercises and ensure timely query resolution takes place

Investor Relations & Reporting:

- Lead the company's internal and external reporting requirements - this will involve preparation and review of the Portfolio's performance across various parameters

- Analytical mindset approach in terms of delivering insights to investors, senior management and relevant stakeholders from a strategic perspective

- Conduct research and analysis on industry trends, track the developments in the sector and peer companies, financials, to arrive at meaningful conclusions for management decision making exercises

- Assist in monthly presentations to management for review of the loan book

- Responsible for managing the complete lifecycle of the assignment from inception to execution and closure with regular follow-ups from key stakeholders

Data Gathering, Sanity and Housekeeping

- Prepare and manage multiple dashboards from a business decision making standpoint, compare key ratios and metrics for analytical insights, observations and trends

- Ensure systematic data management and housekeeping of key MIS files, especially working with various internal teams to streamline processes and improve operational efficiencies

Required Competencies & Experience:

- Prior experience at either an NBFC or Financial Services firm in a similar role, front-end role at an Investment Bank/PE/VC or at a strategy consulting firm

- Financial modelling skills and preparation of corporate presentations - strong power-point presentation and excel skills with thorough understanding of financial statements and analysis

- Independently capable of building and managing detailed financial models

- Ability to simultaneously work on multiple assignments without much oversight

- Preparation of CXO level outputs through well-structured presentations and ability to comprehend problem statements and present findings with a high level of accuracy

- Candidate must demonstrate strong problem-solving ability on allocated assignments as necessary

- Proactively engage with internal teams and employees to ensure smoother flow of deliverables

- Experience in documentation ensuring highest ethical and compliance standards is a plus

- Excellent communication abilities (fluency in written and spoken English is a must)

Preferred Candidate Background:

- MBA (Finance) / Chartered Accountant / CFA - excellent academic track record through school and college

- Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).

- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively

- Strong ability to organize effectively, delegate responsibility, solve problems efficiently
