Analyst / Associate - Corporate Strategy

Overview :

IREP Credit Capital is a young and vibrant organization engaged in MSME Lending and offers small ticket loans to up and coming businesses in semi-urban and rural towns of South India. A key pillar of IREP's growth has focused on banking the unbanked thereby steering the Government's push towards Financial Inclusion.

We are looking for enterprising candidates who wish to be a part of the Corporate Strategy team that directly reports to the CEO. This team is responsible for liaising with various internal and external stakeholders on a daily basis and drives delivery of the firm's growth plan as determined by the Senior Management.

The job doesn't aim to confine the candidate's role to a single division and is rather dynamic in nature whereby he/she will be wearing multiple hats in order to solve complex problems and devise strategic solutions to achieve the firm's end goals.

You will be a key member of the core team tasked with charting out the company's growth plan through the coming years and focus on translating the management's vision into a clear roadmap with milestone planning and execution. Focus area projects will cover business expansion, geographical entry/exit strategies, P&L drive, cost-benefit and breakeven models, financial projections, fundraising, etc.

Brief KRAs :

- Lead and support the value creation objective by identifying opportunities and providing critical information and analysis to execute strategic decisions.

- Maintain strong relationships with prospective partners and lenders as the firm's SPOC and be responsible for managing the complete lifecycle of the partnership

- Key part of any commercial transactions that team involved from the stage of sourcing the transaction to executing it

- Interact and build strong relationship with external agencies, industry bodies, lenders and credit rating agencies for any liaison as required

- Maintain a keen eye on developments in the BFSI segment, especially for new market trends and regulatory updates

- Responsible for analysis, implementation and evaluation of different types of analytical and financial models, pitchbooks and corporate memos

- Excellent organizational and communication abilities, fluency in written and spoken English is a must, backed by a strong grasp of Microsoft Excel

- Candidate Background: Post-graduation or qualified Chartered Accountant (undergrads with excellent track record will also be considered) with 1-6 years experience

Background of the Founder : Naresh Naik is the founder and CEO of IREP, a seasoned professional in the financial services and real estate private equity space having led the asset management funds at Morgan Stanley and Lehman Brothers. He is also an active investor in the start-up space in India and takes a keen interest in mentoring young founders.
