To monitor compliance framework of the Company and give assurance to the management that all the relevant circulars/guidelines issued by IRDA are being complied with
Regulatory Compliance (other than AML)
- Ensure Advertisement compliance
- Participate in the initial discussion on Product concept, product approval process- meetings, discussions
- Review of Policy bond against the regulatory compliance checklist
- Reviewing technical brochures, F&U documents
- Participating in the Approving advertisement, finalise disclaimers on the advt.
- Ensure Filing of annual advertisement certificate with IRDA
- Tele script approval
- Training material approval
- Implementation and Review
- Interpretation of IRDA circulars, guidelines, notifications
- Dissemination of Act, Regulations, Circulars to the concerned stakeholders
- Preparation of process note
- Advisory piece
- Presentation to the stakeholders
- Changes to be incorporated in the existing SOP of concerned team to incorporate the said guideline
- Ensure quarterly submission of compliance certificates (E-score)
- Life Council, IRDA visit paper preparation
- To draft notes for the meetings
- Assimilation of all agenda papers received from the council
- Co-ordinate with Life Council, GBIC for getting the agenda items
- Analysing each of the items and preparing an extract and compiling our views
- Ensure renewal of IRDA registration license
Experience/ Qualification
2- 3 yrs of IRDA compliance in Life/ General Insurance, any graduate with LAW degree is desirable
