IQVIA - Economic Modelling Role - Pharma Domain

Job Description

The incumbent is expected to :

1. Be familiar with and have actual experience of working on pharmaco-economic modelling (PE modelling) with in-depth knowledge of various types of models, differences in inputs for various models and advantages/ disadvantages of each type.

2. Support project lead on PE modeling projects in terms of:

a) Discuss scientific inputs with team and support finalization of model flow

b) Help in mining of data to identify best fit for model inputs

c) Independently develop MS Excel based simple models ensuring complete QC of own work

d) Familiarity with VBA and experience of incorporating VBA in MS excel based models

e) Conduct sensitivity analysis

3. Work across geography/BUs for various projects. Support project lead on discussion of model inputs and output with onshore stakeholder

a) Be able to take call individually with internal stakeholder to understand or discuss day-to-day work

4. Conduct statistical analysis based on R/Python/STATA software (familiarity with at least one of these software is desired)

5. To support the development/mentoring of junior members for PE modelling team

6. Assist team in optimization of HEOR projects based on Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) and machine learning platforms

Education : Post grad. in m. pharma, msc, m. tech- biotechnology, public health
