Investment Risk Analyst - Fixed Income - IIT/IIM

About Our Client :

Our client is one of the largest financial services setup in the world and is looking to rapidly expand its presence in India with new roles and business functions being brought in from overseas. They are looking at hiring a professional to be part of their newly created function.

Job Description :

- Reporting in to the Risk Lead, you shall be part of a newly created risk function.

- The primary objective of this position is to compute, analyze and report diverse portfolio characteristics, weights & risk attribution.

- You shall also be responsible for working with the sales team to compile optimization results in client pitch books.

Some of your key responsibilities shall include :

- Obtain pricing data related to insurance companies' positions from multiple sources and put them in the risk systems

- Run risk reports and iterative optimization reports to construct efficient frontier

- Identify and resolve data issues of low-to-moderate complexity impacting risk and optimization reporting

- Create and run standard reports and queries

- Run optimization reports on potential portfolios to identify compositions yielding best expected performance on the risk-adjusted basis

The Successful Applicant :

- B.Tech/M.Tech/MBA from a tier 1 institute with 4+ years of relevant experience

- Additional certifications such as CFA, FRM. CQF, etc is preferred

- Programming experience on C#, .net, MATLAB is preferable

- Strong experience in risk applications or risk softwares such as POINT, Blackrock, Risk Matrix, Northfield or any other Fixed Income Risk Management System
