Investment Research Role - BFSI

Key Responsibilities :

- Maintaining fundamental economic data repository (like Systemic Liquidity, Fiscal Deficit, Current Account Deficit, Inflation Trend, and other macroeconomic data etc.).

- Analysis of Fixed Income market (like Yield Curve, OIS Curve, Corporate Bond Market, etc.).

- Analyse and interpret high-frequency economic data releases

- Analysing and evaluating bonds and other interest rate instruments

- Monitor macroeconomic trends across economies and evaluate their impact on financial markets, which cover sovereign, FX, and equities.

- Performing quality research and coming up with economic research reports with in-depth analysis of all the macroeconomic events happened.

Mutual Funds Research:

Key Responsibilities :

- Tracking the debt and equity market to assess the performance of the various mutual fund schemes and gives recommendation based on sound judgement.

- Qualitative assessment of mutual funds in comparison to peers and analysis of the underlying portfolios.

- Evaluation of mutual fund schemes across various performance and risk parameters, including performance attribution and fund manager analysis

- Writing reports and articles about the performance of funds and other educational whitepapers for investors.

- Development and Updating of product presentations, Leaflets, Term sheets, FAQs and investment presentations etc. regularly.

- Assures compliance with all mandatory regulations issued by SEBI and overall legal guidelines.

- To advise and provide guidance to sales team by providing inputs and updates of mutual fund products performance through data analysis.

- Regulate and obtain data using different financial software's like Crisil, MF Software, Bloomberg etc.

Other Responsibilities:

- Fund Manager / AMC Interactions

- Tactical Research Reports

- Create investment proposals of ultra HNI clients as and when requirement comes

- Create ad hoc reports on markets and investment themes as required by frontline teams

- Handling research information systems

- Preparation & publishing Product based research material for frontline usage
