About our Client and the Role:

- Our client has a deep understanding of the alternate asset classes in the Indian Financial Markets developed through regular insightful dialogues with the financial sponsor ecosystem.

- They work closely with fund managers across sizes, stages and industries, and help them navigate the investment lifecycle from opportunity identification and portfolio management to monetisation. They leverage their strong, long-standing relationships with diverse financial sponsors across the spectrum to enable leading, best-in-class companies backed by visionary promoters and professional management teams.

Our client is looking for an SVP on their Financial Sponsors coverage team who will be responsible for:

- Originating and executing advisory (sell-side and buy-side) transactions with financial sponsor clients.

- This role would involve being responsible for every step of the execution process from pitching, building financial models, drafting information memorandums to negotiating term sheets and conducting due diligence on assets.

- Manage the overall client relationship in order for Our Client to be seen as a long-term partner

- Build network across C-suite, decision-makers, dealmakers and facilitators

- Develop detailed client plans to establish pipeline opportunities/ priorities for resource planning

- Promote cross-selling, diversify revenue streams to support sustainable long-term business flow - Support business lines on risk related issues.

PROFILE REQUIRED:

- Candidate must have 8- 10 years of prior relevant experience - past interactions with PE Funds including existing relationships/connects at various levels would be preferable

- Experience in execution of IB deals (PE and M&A) for Large/Mid corporate clients with hands on knowledge on running the end to end deal process, documentation & closure formalities

- MBA from a top tier school OR CA with an MBA

- A previous experience in Banking/Private equity would be appreciated

- Good communication and presentation skills

- Proficient/Good command of MS Office

- Excellent knowledge of Finance concepts and Finance related products

- Good understanding of the Financial Sponsors market

- Able to coordinate multi-products pitch and execution

- Capable to assist in the development of structured marketing plans

- Strong command of English in an international deal-making environment

- Strong commitment to the job, hardworking, ability to deliver under demanding conditions

- Shows initiative and curiosity, is proactive

- Shows team spirit / partnership actively participates in team building and group overall harmony
