Job description
This is a position for candidates with work experience of up to 60 months. We welcome candidates from a range of backgrounds with a Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree or an MBA in a discipline that requires analytical thinking, structuring of arguments, and articulate writing.
An associate should expect to play a leading role in M&A and fundraising project teams and directly support the senior banker leading that initiative. Associates will also participate in all aspects of supporting the firm’s broader corporate finance and business development initiatives.
The associates will be based out of our Gurgaon office and will work on transactions involving Europe, the US and India / Asia and would be required to travel for work.
Required skills, attributes and experience
- Track record of academic success
- Experience of building complex business and financial models
- Ability to articulate and structure arguments
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks appropriately
- Experience of working with and managing clients independently, at the CXO level
- 36 to 60 months of work experience in investment banking or other relevant experience in firms of high repute
- Willingness to work hard for long hours
- Familiarity with transaction-related documents: Letters of Intent, NDA, Sale and Purchase Agreements or equivalent
- Willingness to work in a highly entrepreneurial environment
- Experience of working on IT and/or BPO transactions preferred
