Investment Banking Analyst

Opportunity with one of the leading Investment Banks

The analyst will be a key member of the investment banking team and will be involved in end-to-end deal execution. He/She will have the opportunity to work on a variety of transactions with exposure to different industries, geographies and products.

Primary responsibilities:

- Building Financial Models and Valuations Models

- Performing competitive analysis and mapping

- Assisting in business and financial due diligence

- Assisting in preparation of marketing material such as Pitch-Decks and Teasers

- Research and analysis of the industry, economic, market and regulatory data

- Maintaining and updating investor database

- Drafting corporate presentations and newsletter

Qualifications:

- 1-2 years of relevant experience in finance/investment banking/consulting/advisory and an MBA or equivalent degree from a premier institution or CFA

- Excellent skills with MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint

- Strong fundamental understanding of accounting and financial statement analysis

- Experience in building financial models

- Experience in making presentations

- Experience conducting secondary research, industry analysis etc

- Strong understanding of business valuation techniques, including comparable company/transaction analysis and discounted cash flow analysis

- Ability to multi-task

- Strong attention to detail and dedication to quality

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
