Investment Banker - Pharma & Lifesciences Sector

Job Responsibilities:

- Leading M&A and Private Equity transaction executions end to end

- Manage process timelines and quality of deliverables on executions

- Client management on executions

- Closely work with and manage a small team of analysts/ associates

- Lead and coordinate preparation of collaterals

- Teasers, Info Memo and Business plans

- Lead preparation of pitch/ discussion decks for beauty parades/ business development efforts

- Ensure maintenance of industry knowledge base materials for the team

Based on seniority of the candidate:

- May need to create fresh business development leads/ideations and assist in generating business for the team

- May need to develop and manage institutional relationships with select potential clients

Required Qualifications and Skills:

- Relevant experience preferably in another investment bank (note: open to looking at corporate/ other financial institution experience in Pharma sector)

- Transaction experience across Private Equity, M&A and/ or Debt advisory (note: capital markets not preferred since that would be a smaller part of our offerings to clients)

- Robust business modelling skills (conceptual and excel)

- Strong ability to position and narrate equity stories

- Good presentation skills

- Strong team-player with excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Solid attention to detail, organized, and thorough with desire for continuous improvements

- Ability to plan, execute and deliver on projects in a timely manner

- Curiosity and knowledge of financial markets and investment banking business

Based on seniority of the candidate:

- Good business development skills and relationship with Clients and Investors

- MBA or CPA or CFA or CA preferred
