Investment Associate - CA/CFA/IIM/ISB/MDI/IIT

Job Description:

The incumbent will be working in the hardcore front-end investment banking domain.

- End to end dealing in fundraising and M&A with private companies.

- Analysis of financial statements: Income Statement, Balance Sheet & Cash Flow Statement (incl. Free cash flow, funds from operations) of private companies.

- Valuation analysis: comparable companies, precedent transactions, DCF

- Strong understanding of calculating IRR & valuation techniques like DCF, Peer multiple, transaction multiples.

- Detailed preparation of Information Memorandum, Teasers, Financial Models, company profiles, Investor profiling, Industry research, Transaction analysis & strategic presentations.

- Creating various types of financial models for mergers & acquisitions and capital raising transactions.

- Assisting in organizations in Growth Strategy, Management Consulting, Organic Expansion strategy, etc.

- Interacting with clients and external agencies for transaction coordination.

- In-depth research on assigned sectors.

- Assist in due diligence, research, analysis, and documentation of transactions

Requirements:

- Education Qualification: CA/CFA/MBA (IIM/ISB/MDI/IIT & Other Top Institutes)

- 4-7 years work ex in Private Equity, VC firms & Advisory

- Candidate preferred from Private Equity Firms/ Venture Investment firms/ Boutique IB Firms/ Consulting Firms.

- Strong analytical and quantitative skills;

- Excellent MS Excel and PowerPoint skills

- Understanding of accounting aspects and strong financial modeling skills

- Possess an entrepreneurial approach to work with enthusiasm to implement fund strategy
