Investment Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

- Deal Sourcing: Identify and research potential investment opportunities through research, market analysis, networking, events, and other channels.

- Due Diligence: Conduct thorough due diligence on potential investment prospects, including market analysis, competitive landscape assessment, financial analysis, and team evaluation.

- Financial Modelling & valuation: Create and analyse financial models to assess investment viability, potential returns, and risk factors. Conduction valuation across various methodologies including DCF, comparables (India and global)

- Investment Presentations: Prepare comprehensive investment memos and presentations for the investment committee, highlighting the opportunity, key risks, and potential value creation.

- Portfolio Management: Assist in managing the existing portfolio of investments

- Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive dynamics to inform investment strategies.

- Reporting: Provide regular updates to the investment team and partners on the progress of deals, pipeline activity, and portfolio performance.

Qualifications & skills:

- Specialisation in finance - BBA / BSc Finance / CA / CFA / MBA from leading institutes

- 1-3 years of experience in research teams / VCs / family offices / investment banking

- Strong financial analysis and financial modelling. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills

- Exceptional analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities

- Excellent communication and presentation skills

- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
