About the Department:
Invest India is the National Investment Promotion and Facilitation Agency under the Department for Promotion of Industry & Internal Trade (DPIIT), Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India. It hosts teams working with various government initiatives such as Make in India, Startup India, AGNIi, and PMG.
This role will be part of the Marketing team at Invest India, focused on executing activities and operations related to overall marketing strategies of One District One Product (ODOP) initiative. We require a dynamic and experienced Marketing professional who will be responsible for implementation of comprehensive Marketing campaigns & strategies, managing/ coordinating with a team of marketing professionals and ensuring seamless coordination with ODOP team. This role requires a strategic and creative thinker with hands-on experience in brand building, campaign management, social media, online and offline marketing, event management, media campaigns, and content creation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Effective implementation and execution of One District One Product (ODOP) vision & strategies through all marketing, media and content properties.
- Work in close collaboration with ODOP team and Ministry officials for developing, understanding the requirements and translating them into marketing, branding, content and media-related campaigns as per expectations
- Building cohesive brand guidelines, tone of voice and ensure implementation across verticals to maintain a strong, consistent brand identity across all channels.
- Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns across social media, online, and offline channels.
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance, optimize strategies and share regular reports as needed to meet KPIs and business objectives.
- Creation of high-quality content for various platforms including websites, blogs, social media, reports, brochures, videos and other marketing materials.
- Lead digital marketing initiatives including SEO, SEM, social media marketing, email campaigns, and online advertising.
- Implement marketing automation tools to enhance efficiency & effectiveness and automate processes for smooth execution within the team.
- Develop and manage the marketing budget to ensure effective allocation and utilization of resources.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams within Invest India to design and execute high-impact marketing campaigns.
- Plan, organize, and execute events, roadshows, meetups and other promotional activities for Startup India, including coordinating and executing media communications.
- Engage and regularly collaborate with central marketing agency and external partners (collaborators on need basis) to execute campaigns effectively.
- Conduct market analysis regularly to identify opportunities, threats, and competitive positioning.
- Build, mentor and lead the marketing team in achieving set goals & KPIs to foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Work with procurement and finance team for required processes and invoicing of vendors for the function.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field. A master's degree in this field is preferred.
- At least 7 years of practical experience in the Marketing field, with at least 3 years in a managerial role executing campaigns, branding, content and social media.
- Graphic Design & video editing skills are a big plus - Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere
- Strong digital marketing expertise and familiarity with current tools and platforms and extensive knowledge of brand management, content creation and media strategies.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent communication and strong analytical skills to interpret data for informed decision making.
- Ability to work under high pressure situations and deliver exceptionally.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving capabilities
