About the Department:

Invest India is the National Investment Promotion and Facilitation Agency under the Department for Promotion of Industry & Internal Trade (DPIIT), Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India. It hosts teams working with various government initiatives such as Make in India, Startup India, AGNIi, and PMG.

Key Responsibilities:

- Build sector expertise and analyze the laws, regulations and policies concerning the sector ecosystem.

- Network and build working relationships with key stakeholders such as Central & State Government officials, and project proponents.

- Support planning and execution of various engagements, internal and external review meetings.

- Collect data from the relevant stakeholders and conduct data analysis to support the Ministry with data management.

- Provide project updates (implementation status, progress, issues, etc.) on a consistent basis to various stakeholders (including the Project Monitoring Group, Invest India, DPIIT)

- Assist in the development of effective and efficient project monitoring plans

- Lead preparation of high-quality research, reports, and briefing notes, as required for the projects related to sector.

- Regularly track and follow-up on deliverables.

Qualifications:

- B.Tech/Management/Professional degree

- Minimum 2 years full-time work experience, preferably in the sector

- Strong business communication & etiquettes, networking skills, and stakeholder management

- Prior understanding of administrative set-up of the Government and sector ecosystem would be preferable

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver on tight timelines

- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
