About the Department:

- Invest India is the National Investment Promotion and Facilitation Agency under the Department of Promotion for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India. It hosts teams working with various government initiatives such as Make in India, Startup India, AGNii, and PMG.

- The person would drive key initiatives for the Renewable Energy sector at Department of Promotion for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT).

Key Responsibilities:

- Effective dialogue with the relevant ministries, government authorities and agencies on policy matters.

- Gather market intelligence, key information of most recent developments on various codes and standards across the industry

- Effective relationship with relevant government bodies, agencies, institutions at central and state level and specific to Renewable Energy, Green Hydrogen and Green Ammonia

- Active participation as key member in various private and government forums to drive Green Hydrogen Policy at central and state level.

- Represent DPIIT and its position in terms of policy advocacy at various forums where regulatory bodies seek inputs from stakeholders.

- Working on regulatory codes and standards for the Green Hydrogen Sector in India.

Qualifications:

- Experience in Renewable Energy/Green Hydrogen sector

- At least 3-5 years of full-time work experience at a leading Corporate/Consulting firm

- Must have a strong grasp on the Technical aspects of Hydrogen / Ammonia Production, Conversion and Transportation. Experience of Electrolyzer projects will be an excellent advantage

- Knowledge of Public Private Partnership and policies in India and globally

- Ability to work in teams and independently take responsibility of key deliverables and projects

- Strong Communication, Research and Analytical skills

- Experience in Govt Regulatory /Policy would be preferred
