Job Description: Director of Learning and Development
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Director of Learning and Development with 10 to 13 years of experience, specializing in content development and delivery. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of designing and delivering engaging learning content that drives employee development and supports organizational goals. As the Director of L&D, you will be the driving force behind creating impactful learning experiences through your expertise in content development and delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic learning and development roadmap that supports the organization's goals, ensuring alignment with current and future business needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, business leaders, and subject matter experts to identify learning needs and design effective training solutions.
- Utilize industry best practices and innovative learning methodologies to enhance the effectiveness of learning programs, incorporating e-learning, workshops, simulations, and other relevant methods.
- Create engaging and interactive learning content, including e-learning modules, videos, guides, and other materials, tailored to various learning styles and preferences.
- Manage the end-to-end content creation process, from concept ideation to delivery, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and a seamless user experience.
- Select and implement appropriate learning technologies and platforms to deliver content and track learner progress effectively.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of learning initiatives through data analysis, feedback collection, and key performance indicators, making data-driven improvements as needed.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in L&D and content development to ensure our programs remain competitive and relevant.
- Manage the budget allocated for learning content development, ensuring cost-effective delivery of high-quality materials.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development throughout the organization by delivering exceptional learning experiences.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align learning content with business objectives and provide subject matter expertise on learning design and delivery.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or a related field, Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience in content development, instructional design, and content delivery.
- Demonstrated ability to create engaging and effective learning content for various formats, including e-learning modules, videos, documents, and interactive materials.
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and performance improvement methodologies.
- Proficiency in content development tools and software.
