In addition to popular services such as Sports, Education, Healthcare, Travel, etc. txtWeb offers a range of unique Internet enabling services such as Wikipedia and Facebook, that are typically not accessible over SMS.

- This candidate will contribute in the key monetization initiatives for txtWeb including Carrier Partnerships, on-going relationships, handset manufacturer tie-ups. This role will be part of young but highly entrepreneurial team therefore the candidate should always have the do-it attitude with strategic thoughts to deliver end-results in favor of the company.

- This role is likely to interest those who are entrepreneurial; open to making quick course-corrections based on learning from customers and can roll up their sleeves to get things done in India despite all the bureaucracy and infrastructural challenges.

- The candidate will be integral part of the team hence will be required to work closely with the very passionate team of Product, Marketing and Engineering to support the initiatives. The incumbent will define and deliver her/his own KRA’s and build the confidence in the team to scale up in the company.

- The job offers significant exposure to senior leaders within (U.S. & India) and outside the company as well as greater responsibility and career progression than often found in typical corporate roles.
Right candidate will also get an opportunity to expand txtWeb in the developing International Markets.

This role will report into the Business Development Leader of txtWeb.

Key Outcome metrics of this role would be:

- Develop favorable partnerships with Telco’s Pan India

- The incumbent will be responsible for account management and sales with the existing and new accounts (Telecom Operators & Handset Manufacturers)

- Revenue generation from the partners at a regional level, achieve targeted business growth numbers –
Active Users & Revenues

- Work closely with operators (circle level & corporate) to increase ARPU and penetration through inputs and engagement for marketing activities, feature promotions based on the user study

- Techno-commercial interactions with customers

- Tracking competition with regard to each account

- Liaise with various intra-department teams pro-actively (Finance, Legal, Product, Marketing and Engineering to name a few)

- Ensuring efficient delivery of services including management of operator resources

- Perform day-to-day account management activities like timely collection of payments, managing escalations

- Strong existing Operator & handset manufacturer relationship

- Prior experience managing multiple accounts in the area of telecom

- Handling large client accounts and client relationship

- Should have solutions selling experience, prior experience of solutions selling to mobile operators is an added advantage.

- Clarity in thinking and problem-solving skills to prioritize and stay focused on what is critical

- Candidate from VAS, ISP and Telecom Industries would be preferred.

- Outstanding senior management communication skills both internal and external

- A go-getter and a team player
