Internal Auditor - Telecom

We are looking for one of our esteemed client, which is a global business consulting and internal audit firm composed of experts specializing in risk, advisory and transaction services. The firm helps solve problems in finance and transactions, operations, human capital, technology, litigation, governance, risk, and compliance. Their highly trained, results oriented professionals provide a unique perspective on a wide range of critical business issues for clients in the Americas, Asia-Pacific, Europe and the Middle East.

Role Objective:

- The Firm is seeking to recruit, who have relevant work experience and skills in Internal Audit.

- The Senior Consultant has primary responsibility for direct supervision of Consultants in executing GSM fixed Network audit and consulting projects.

Role Responsibilities:

The key responsibilities of the candidate include:

- Responsible for executing client related engagements in the areas of Network Audit and Telecom consulting projects

- Anticipate and identify engagement related risks and controls in Telecom Networks.

- Prepare presentations and audit proposals as required for client engagements.

- Prepare detailed audit reports, working papers, and minutes of meetings as part of engagement documentation.

- Actively establish & strengthen client (functional heads & key influencers) and internal relationships.

- Assist seniors & managers in developing new methodologies and internal initiatives.

- Create a positive learning culture, coaches, and counsels and develops junior team members.

- Identify & escalate potential business opportunities for the firm on existing client engagements.

- Deliver work that is of high quality and error free.

Required Skills:

The candidate will have experience in one of the following areas:

- Excellent understanding of 2G/3G Network architectures (RF prediction tools; Traffic and Capacity Dimensioning; features and parameters; tools for data collection and handling; command handling, alarm detection and trouble shooting)

- LTE knowledge will be considered a plus.

- Good knowledge of IP/MPLS Planning , design and Security Understanding of LAN/WAN infrastructure, switches, routers and firewall.

- Applied knowledge of complex Telecom Network design and operational problems.

- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, written and oral communication skills.

- Proven track record of meeting objectives.

- Good MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Project skills for performing work assignments.

- Able to take a logical and orderly approach to analyzing problems, organizing work and planning actions.

- Ability to work with people from various backgrounds.

Work Experience & Education:

- 3-5 years in a related field, preferably in professional services / consulting.

- Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline (e.g. Telecom Engineering) required.

- Big 4 experience not mandatory

Expected Travel:

- Travel throughout the month frequently required based on client requests/commitments. Should have a valid passport and should be willing to travel for at least 4 to 6 months a year to Middle East.
