Internal Auditor - Bank

Overview :

We are looking for a dedicated Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist to join our Internal Audit Group (IAG) for a temporary assignment.

In this role, you will conduct a pre-external quality assurance (EQA) review to identify and address any gaps in our QA processes, ensuring we are well-prepared for the upcoming external review.

Key Responsibilities :

- Pre-Health Check: Conduct a thorough assessment of the current QA processes and practices within the IAG to evaluate their effectiveness and compliance.

- Gap Analysis: Identify areas where our QA initiatives may fall short and recommend improvements to ensure adherence to the International Professional Practices Framework (IPPF) established by the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA).

- Documentation Review: Ensure that the QA manual and related documentation are correctly implemented and align with best practices.

- Collaboration: Work closely with the team to implement various QA initiatives aimed at enhancing the effectiveness of our internal audit function.

- Preparation for External Review: Assist in preparing for the upcoming external quality assurance review scheduled for next year by addressing identified gaps and implementing recommended improvements.

Qualifications:

- Experience: Proven experience in Quality Assurance within an internal audit function.

- Familiarity with IPPF: Knowledge of the IIA IPPF framework and its application in internal auditing practices.

- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail to identify and address QA issues effectively.

- Independence and Teamwork: Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and documentation skills to effectively convey findings and recommendations
