Internal Audit & Risk Manager

We are seeking to recruit IA & Risk Manager – Qatar

Role Responsibilities

- At least 5+ years of experience working for an international consulting firm in the area of Internal Audit

- Proven experience directly managing a portfolio of clients (relationship management) and delivering (execution) internal audit and risk projects, with an annual fee income of at least USD 500,000

- Proven experience managing and coaching junior resources and teams (from Consultant to Assistant Manager) to effectively plan and deliver:

- Internal audit engagements to clients (including: outsourcing, co-sourcing, secondments, annual risk assessments and IA plans, quality assurance reviews in accordance with IIA Standards, bench marking and transformation of IA functions, software and automation of IA processes, development and implementation of IA policies and procedures, IA training and development plans, IA set up, Individual operational, investigation / fraud, compliance and IT audits in SAP / Oracle environments and preparing individual audit reports and Audit Committee reports); and / or

- Risk Management engagements to clients (ERM or Project / Program Risk design and set up, including policies and procedures, setting risk appetites, implementing ERM / PR systems in accordance with best practice and ISO requirements, preparation of risk lists, identification and assessment of risks (including interviews & workshops), reporting of risks, design and monitoring of risk responses and mitigation plans, development and implementation of ERM / PR software and tools).

Advantageous if previous experience working in markets from the Middle East, North America, US, Europe / CIS, South Africa, Australia etc..).

Required Skills.

- Qualified Internal Auditor (CIA) or internationally recognized Risk Management qualification.

- Certified Information System Auditor (CISA) or internationally recognized Project Management or Financial Management / Analysis qualification

Expected Travel

Candidate should be required to travel as needed on projects within the Middle East
