Job Summary:
As a National Auditor for our Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) chain, you will be responsible for overseeing and conducting comprehensive audits across all national locations. Your primary objective will be to ensure adherence to internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards, aiming to enhance operational efficiency, mitigate risks, and drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Audit Planning and Execution:
- Develop and execute audit plans and schedules for national locations, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and compliance requirements.
- Conduct risk-based audits focusing on financial, operational, and compliance areas.
- Perform field audits, including evaluating internal controls, testing transactions, and identifying areas for improvement.
Compliance Monitoring:
- Monitor adherence to company policies, industry regulations, and best practices across all QSR locations.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and recommend improvements to enhance compliance and operational efficiency.
Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare detailed audit reports with findings, recommendations, and action plans.
- Present audit results to senior management, highlighting key issues and proposed solutions.
- Ensure thorough documentation of audit processes and results for future reference and regulatory requirements.
Risk Management:
- Identify and assess potential risks and vulnerabilities within the organization's operations and financial processes.
- Collaborate with management to develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and corrective actions.
Training and Support:
- Provide training and guidance to local managers and staff on compliance, internal controls, and audit processes.
- Support the implementation of audit recommendations and track progress on corrective actions.
Continuous Improvement:
- Stay current with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in auditing and compliance.
- Propose and implement process improvements to enhance audit efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting , Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) designation preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in auditing, with at least 2-3 years in a managerial or lead auditor role, preferably within the QSR or retail industry.
