Our client is into safeguarding public health by looking after the safety, efficacy, and security of human and veterinary drugs, biological products, medical devices, along with ensuring the safety of the nation's food supply, cosmetics, and radiation-emitting products is looking for and Interim Head - OTC /Customer Health Business - Sales & Marketing person having the following criteria:
Mission / Challenges:
- Transition identified Rx products to consumer health segment.
- Develop and execute a transition plan, overcoming trade resistance.
- Identify potential products within licensed portfolios suitable for consumer health.
- Devise promotional strategies for product launches across general trade, modern trade, and e-commerce channels.
Reporting to: Executive Director
Requirement:
Essential Qualification:
- MBA in Marketing from a reputable institution preferably from a B School.
Preferred Background:
- Background in Pharma/Consumer industry with experience in OTC launch and sales.
- Familiarity with Wholesale/Retail Pharma Associations and adept at managing relationships.
- Demonstrated experience in both pharma and consumer health sectors.
- Proven track record of transitioning products from Rx to Consumer healthcare.
Experience: Minimum 18 years of relevant experience.
Age: 45 - 60 years
Mandatory Requirement:
- Thorough understanding of regulatory issues in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Experience in dealing with Trade Bodies is essesntial
Duration: - 12 months (one year)
