Company Overview:
Our client is a prominent film production company that has successfully produced three movies over the last three years. Currently, they are working on a big-budget project valued at Rs 150 crores, including the highly anticipated multi-language blockbuster which is set for immediate release in six languages.
Mission & Challenges:
- Primary Mission: To develop and implement effective marketing and sales strategies for both B2B and B2C markets, maximizing the reach and revenue of the company's upcoming films.
- Immediate Challenge: Lead the marketing and sales efforts for the blockbuster ensuring its successful release and broad audience engagement across six languages.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Planning:
o Develop comprehensive sales and marketing strategies tailored for upcoming movies.
o Create and execute multi-channel campaigns that appeal to diverse audiences across different languages.
2. Sales Development:
o Establish and nurture strong relationships with B2B clients, including distributors, exhibitors, and corporate partners.
o Drive revenue through innovative sales tactics for tickets, merchandise, and ancillary products.
3. Marketing Execution:
o Oversee the creation and implementation of marketing campaigns across digital, print, and broadcast media.
o Lead public relations efforts, including press releases, media interviews, and promotional events.
4. Team Leadership:
o Manage and guide a team of marketing and sales professionals, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment.
o Ensure the team's activities are aligned with the overall business goals.
5. Market Analysis:
o Conduct market research to identify trends, audience preferences, and competitive positioning.
o Leverage data analytics to refine marketing strategies and optimize sales approaches.
6. Budget Management:
o Develop and oversee budgets for marketing and sales initiatives, ensuring efficient use of resources.
o Monitor financial performance and adjust strategies to achieve revenue goals.
7. Stakeholder Engagement:
o Collaborate with directors, producers, and other key stakeholders to align marketing efforts with the creative vision.
o Provide regular updates to management and promoters on campaign performance and sales outcomes.
Preferred Industry Background:
- Extensive experience in the film business or production house environment.
- Proven track record of handling large-scale film marketing and sales projects.
Experience & Qualifications:
- 18-20 years of experience in sales and marketing, with substantial experience within the film industry.
- Minimum age of 40 years.
Key Result Areas:
- Successful launch and market penetration of "Kannappa" across six languages.
- Achievement of revenue and audience engagement targets for all upcoming films.
- Development of a robust B2B and B2C network.
- Enhancement of brand presence and market share in the film industry.
