Interim Head - MNC Manufacturing/Engineering Industry

Our Client's Group is experiencing strong growth and as a result, their production facilities need to ramp up in unprecedented percentages. We are therefore looking for support for their management teams to assure growth and development whilst production continues with the assured quality. Their Pune facility is the backbone of their production as it supplies their EU facilities with a huge volume of springs, allowing their organization to increase their presence in the highly competitive market of springs for industrial and domestic sectional doors. In the next 12 months, they intend to increase production by over 50%, built a new warehouse, increase their staff and install a number of new machines. To support the team in this process we are looking for a temporary re-enforcement in the form of a seasoned Senior Executive with a proven track record in a manufacturing environment.

Background:

- Senior executive with at least 20 years experience (even retired and still active) in a B2B environment;

- Without any doubt an executive that managed production companies in GM or MD roles;

- Strong financial acumen connecting to the production flow;

- Proven experience in building teams and strengthening organizations.

Role/Target

- 3-6 months period to support the local Management Team in further development, being on-site in Pune at least 4 days per week;

- Together with the Team develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOP);

- Review performances and objectively judge team members in their role and the team process;

- Working with the local MT and reporting to the Board of the Group (Finance Director & Managing Director Operations)
