Company Overview: A leading student housing company providing accommodation to over 7,000 students in Tirupati through owned and leased hostels. Facilities include comprehensive food services, ensuring a comfortable and supportive living environment for students

Mission & Challenges:

- Primary Mission: Manage and develop the student housing facilities and community, ensuring high standards in accommodation, food services, and overall student experience.

- Challenges: Oversee the operational efficiency of all facilities, manage staff effectively, and drive growth and profitability in a competitive market.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operational Management:

o Oversee daily operations of all student housing facilities, including owned and leased properties.

o Ensure high standards of cleanliness, safety, and maintenance across all accommodations.

o Manage and optimize food service operations to provide nutritious and appealing meals.

2. Staff Management:

o Lead, mentor, and manage a diverse team of administrative, housekeeping, and culinary staff.

o Develop training programs to enhance staff skills and performance.

o Foster a positive and productive work environment.

3. Financial Oversight:

o Develop and manage the operational budget, ensuring cost-effective utilization of resources.

o Monitor financial performance and implement strategies to achieve profitability targets.

o Oversee P&L responsibilities and financial reporting.

4. Community Development:

o Promote a vibrant and engaging student community through events, activities, and support services.

o Address student needs and concerns promptly to ensure a high level of satisfaction.

o Implement feedback mechanisms to continuously improve the student living experience.

5. Strategic Planning:

o Develop and execute long-term strategies for growth and expansion of housing facilities.

o Identify opportunities for improving service offerings and operational efficiencies.

o Collaborate with the CEO and Promoters on strategic initiatives and business development.

6. Compliance and Safety:

o Ensure compliance with all local laws and regulations pertaining to housing and food services.

o Implement and enforce health and safety standards to protect students and staff.

o Regularly review and update policies and procedures to maintain compliance and safety standards.

Preferred Industry Background:

- Extensive experience in hotels, hospitality chains, large living facilities, or administrative roles within the service industry.

Experience & Qualifications:

- 18-20 years of experience in operational management, with a significant portion in a relevant industry.

- Proven track record of managing large-scale facilities with a focus on growth and profitability.

- MBA in Hotel Management

- Minimum age of 40 years.
