Interim Chief Digital Advisor- Leading Paint Industry
The Chief Digital Officer is responsible for designing digital transformation initiatives, suggesting innovative technologies, and ensuring the organization's digital strategy aligns with its overall business objectives. The CDA collaborates with various stakeholders to design enhanced customer experiences, optimize business processes, and maximize the organization's digital capabilities.
Responsibilities:
1. Digital Strategy Development: Develop a comprehensive digital strategy aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.
2. Digital Transformation Leadership: Prepare the organization's digital transformation efforts by identifying new digital opportunities, fostering innovation, and driving change across the organization.
3. Technology Implementation: Evaluate emerging technologies and implement digital solutions that enhance operational efficiency, customer engagement, and business performance.
4. Data Analytics and Insights: Drive data-driven decision-making by leveraging analytics tools and technologies to extract valuable insights from customer and operational data.
5. Customer Experience Enhancement: Identify and implement strategies to enhance the organization's digital presence, improve user experiences, and increase customer satisfaction.
6. Digital Marketing and Branding: Develop and execute digital marketing strategies to strengthen the organization's brand presence, increase customer acquisition, and improve customer retention.
7. Cybersecurity and Risk Management: Ensure the organization's digital assets, data, and systems are secure by implementing robust cybersecurity measures and risk management practices.
8. Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Foster collaboration among cross-functional teams and establish strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, such as IT teams, marketing, sales, and business leaders.
9. Talent Development: Build and lead a high-performing digital team, providing guidance, mentorship, and training to develop digital capabilities within the organization.
10. Performance Measurement: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of digital initiatives, monitor progress, and report on the success of digital transformation efforts to senior leadership.
Qualifications & Experience:
1. Education: A bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field such as computer science, information technology, business administration, or digital marketing. Advanced degrees or certifications related to digital transformation and emerging technologies are advantageous.
2. Industry Experience: Extensive experience (typically 10+ years.) in digital strategy, digital transformation, or a related field, preferably within the paints industry or a similar sector.
3. Strategic Vision: Strong strategic thinking and the ability to align digital initiatives with overall business goals and objectives.
4. Digital Expertise: Deep understanding of digital technologies, trends, and best practices, including cloud computing, data analytics, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and mobile applications.
5. Leadership Skills: Proven leadership experience, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams, drive change, and manage complex projects.
6. Business Acumen: Strong business understanding, including financial management, budgeting, and ROI analysis.
7. Communication and Influencing Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills to effectively communicate digital strategies and initiatives to diverse audiences and gain support from stakeholders.
8. Innovation and Agility: Demonstrated ability to think innovatively, embrace emerging technologies, and adapt to a rapidly evolving digital landscape.
9. Industry experience in Construction / Building Material/ Paints & Lubricants/ FMCG will be an added advantage
