Interim- Capex Sourcing- MNC Water Solution Company
- Manage pre-construction capex procurement activities and post Procurement of land in line with company expansion strategy
- Monitor creation of RFI and RFQ documentations, identification of vendors for equipment; coordination for quality checks; evaluation of vendors, negotiation with them etc.
- Handle procurement of supplies (systems, sub-systems, equipment and spare parts) and services (consulting, engineering and planning) for the assigned plant areas or investment projects
- Determine which suppliers should be positioned for long-term contracts based on the suppliers' overall value to the business. Establish and implement standards for partnering with these suppliers
- Oversee the entire vendor management source to pay cycle at existing plants so that the same can be replicated at other plant areas or investment projects
- Build mechanisms and lead initiatives to ensure that suppliers' costs don't extend beyond established goals. Constantly seek ways to reduce spending and demonstrate the ability to advise vertical heads on whether a given purchase is reasonable and justified
- Evolve Capex sourcing and procurement processes based on category specific business or internal stakeholder requirements
- Work with the Procurement Head to enable and ensure the entire PO and invoice payment process is seamless
- Provide leadership, development and expertise to each Capex Project along with the professional manner of dealing with internal customers and suppliers, vendors contractors
- Actively participate in Digital Transformation journey for SCM (e.g. E-Procurement, SAP improvement etc.)
- Note: Interim Assignment for 6-12 months
- Master's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Materials Management required
- 15+ years of prior experience with at least 7 + years of Capital Expenditure strategic sourcing and category management experience
