Roles and responsibilities:

Purpose :

- The purpose of this role is to manage the overall sales performance of a region or team. Area Sales Managers perform sales duties themselves and lead teams of salespeople to achieve sales goals. Responsible for setting sales goals for training and supporting teams in order to help them achieve those goals.

Job Responsibilities:

- Develop an overall business plan, including sales strategies and profit goals. This includes performing territory and sales analysis , assessing the results, and adjusting sales strategies accordingly.

- Often requiring travel, Area Sales Managers visit potential and current clients in order to provide product information, answer client questions and concerns, build brand awareness and provide support to the sales team in that region. They do this through both individual meetings and larger sales presentations.

- Establishing, maintaining and expanding customer base; servicing the needs of existing customers. collecting customer and market feedback and reporting the same to the organization

- Monitoring sales team performance, analyzing sales data, periodical forecasting and reporting to National Head

Experience:

- Minimum 7+ years of FMCG sales experience.

- Should have good knowledge of distribution, sales activities, especially in Modern Trade.

- Should have good reporting skills and knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

- Should have handled modern trade accounts
