InterGlobe Hotels - Development Analyst

- Responsible for market analysis to support identification of new potential markets and target markets

- Visiting city / market for understanding its dynamics wrt macro and micro economic factors, infrastructure developments, commercial and Hotel developments etc. and presenting the same for arriving at decisions

- Conducting primary surveys to understand and document demand drivers and performance of competitive set for any proposed development

- Valuation analysis of the opportunity by creating financial models for the proposed deal structure

- Prepare business proposal including necessary documentation

- Preparation of Internal presentations for Board meetings, Development updates, Business Plans and other day-to-day requirements

- Analyze various opportunities submitted by brokers and property owners

- Create and manage dashboards to maintain deal pipeline

Required Knowledge

The incumbent must have knowledge in the following areas:

- Thorough working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

- Overall understanding of the hospitality industry

- Familiar with real estate activity in key cities in India

Required Skills

The incumbent must demonstrate the following skills:

- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions

- Perform market research to determine/verify assumptions which help determine project feasibility

- Understanding of economy drivers

- Report writing skills

- Commercial acumen

- Confidentiality in dealing with all issues of the business

Qualifications

- Masters in Finance / Economics / Hotel Management
