- We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Organizational Development Manager to join our team.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying opportunities to enhance organizational effectiveness by optimizing resource utilization and implementing strategic people and organizational development initiatives.
- The Organizational Development Manager will play a crucial role in driving change management efforts aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Planning and Implementation:
- Contribute to the design and execution of people and organizational development strategies.
- Manage change initiatives in alignment with the organization's strategic and operational plans.
- Provide information, advice, and services to support organizational development efforts.
- Prepare training calendars at the beginning of the financial year where training needs are identified for the employees.
2. Collaboration and Communication:
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, particularly Admin, Operations, and Finance, to implement organizational performance improvement initiatives.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels to ensure alignment and buy-in for organizational development initiatives.
3. Culture Development:
- Maintain and foster a positive and achievement-oriented work culture.
- Promote diversity and inclusion by establishing policies and practices that support these objectives.
- Evaluate existing practices and policies to ensure alignment with diversity goals.
4. Training and Development:
- Assess training needs and develop programs to enhance employee skills and competencies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver training sessions and workshops.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and recommend adjustments as needed.
5. Performance Measurement:
- Measure the impact of interventions on staff performance, efficiency, retention, and job satisfaction.
- Develop employee retention plans and a robust employee referral program.
- Educate employees regarding evaluation philosophy and standards of performance in advance.
- Provide examples of what constitutes "exceeds expectations", "meets expectations", and "needs improvement".
6. Employee Engagement:
- Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.
- Conduct surveys and gather feedback to identify areas for improvement.
- Implement strategies to recognize and reward employee contributions.
7. HR Strategy and Compliance:
- Contribute to the development and implementation of HR strategies, policies, and procedures that support organizational goals.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, and keep abreast of changes that may impact HR practices.
- Familiarize employees with the overall ethos of the organization. company's values, norms, and vision.
- Audit the existing HR policies and procedures manual and/ or employee handbook to make sure that the given details provided are relevant to the current industry/market scenario.
Qualifications:
- Graduation or postgraduation in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience in organizational development, change management, and strategic planning.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess business operations and identify areas for improvement.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Certification in Organizational Development or Change Management (desired).
Minimum of 8 years of experience in a similar role.
