The team works with: The team works with: - Social Enterprise models to help them achieve scale and faster integration with the mainstream through better business planning, market intelligence, and process excellence - Large businesses and corporations to help them engage better with the Bottom of the Pyramid markets Private foundations, multilateral and bilateral funders, and investors to help them understand, strategize and design interventions for the inclusive business space Key Roles and Responsibilities: Structuring : - Speak to prospective borrowers and financial intermediaries (FIs) as well as capital providers to assess their requirements, and evaluate the suitability of a blended finance intervention in overcoming key issues in access to finance - Coordinate with financial institutions to enhance the use of existing credit guarantees and support in structuring newer facilities and blended finance products - Working with financial institutions to underwrite structure and document quality loans per bank policy, and to assist them in offering appropriate innovative models in line with pooled fund mechanism. - Structure results-based financing instruments. - Structure loan and financing instruments for prospective agencies Detailing : - Liaise with legal and tax advisors to detail the design keeping in mind relevant regulatory perspectives - Develop a business plan and financial model for the designed blended finance facility - Create a Loan Origination strategy document that includes Origination sources, channels, and approach plan, potential partners with targets, activities, and timelines. - Designing and implementing risk management process for blended facility, which includes an analysis of the financial impact on the facility when risks occur. - Develop a pipeline of potential recipients (Manufacturers, innovators, training and capacity building organizations, etc.) for implementing the structure. Qualifications & Experience Requirements : - Degree/Masters or equivalent from reputed institutes in India/Abroad - Good knowledge of blended finance instruments and ability to identify initial fit and potential - 5-10 years of experience in the banking sector and/or impact investment. - Advanced professional courses in finance (CA / CFA) or an MBA in finance from a reputed institution - Extensive knowledge of innovative financing models, loan structuring, and risk pooling - Experience in dealing with FIs, multilateral agencies, DFIs, donor organizations, and corporates - A track record of strategic thinking and leading large-scale programs - Demonstrated ability to develop and manage client and stakeholder relationships - Reasonably good skills with MS office applications like Excel, PPT, and Word.
